It started raining on Saturday, October 10 and off and on it continued until late Sunday evening, well over 30 hours. The home weather station in Las Brisas measured 2.2+ inches of rain over that period of time. Wow! Of course this was the weekend of the yearly Todos Santos town festival. I can’t imagine that went off very well in the wetness.
It wasn’t an Odile, but water was everywhere. It came through poorly designed windows and block walls and seemingly waterproof roofs. The ground is soaked. The plants are happy. The weeds continue to grow and the insects are multiplying.
The bo-bos are resurgent. New mosquito hatchlings can’t be far behind.
